    Do you have a lot of documents? I wonder if this is maybe a memory problem?

    Looks like you might have the GovIntranet ‘events’ module switched on, which may be clashing with your eventon plugin. If so, could you try turning it off?

    Sorry to see you’re having problems. Do you know what version of PHP you are using? Can you supply more info about your hosting environment?

    I spotted this yesterday. There’s a problem on news and news updates. The workaround is to select the Auto expiry option and set a date (you can choose to switch the news type rather than reverting to draft status) – then you’ll be able to save or publish.

    These are news updates, which are a different post type to feature news. You may need to activate the module in Options. Once activated, you find a new taxonomy for news update types.
    You will also need to activate the news updates plugin to get the widget. Colours are set on individual widget instances.

    There are various plugins that you can use. MailPoet is popular with our clients using it to send out automated emails containing news roundups.

    Most clients have created a “Former employee” user account, which they use to reassign content as they delete users.

    WARNING – you must select the reassign option. We have had a number of disasters where key content publishers have been deleted along with all their content including images and documents – because the admin chose the “Delete all content” option.

    If you’re collecting data you could you use the GravityForms plugins which allows conditional fields.

    Hello Donald – is this on any particular page or in general? We’ve had problems in the past on the “How do I?” template for sites with hundreds of tags and thousands of tasks.

    Paul’s using the “Revisionary” plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/revisionary/

    It’s not my favourite plugin, and we’ve had issues with scheduled publication of revisions not hooking into core WordPress functions. But it does the job of allowing edits to live pages that require approval.

    Thanks for spotting!

    This bug has crept in as the theme moves towards using the customiser. If you hide the site title in the header, the hyperlink hides too. For now, using a textual site title will include the homepage link.

    I’m working on the custom logo next in the customiser which will include the hyperlink.
