Can you please advise on the appropriate way to deal with leavers. I do not want them to be able to log in any more and I want them to not appear on the staff directory. I am not sure I ought to just delete them though. Will this not lead to issues if that user has created content?
Most clients have created a “Former employee” user account, which they use to reassign content as they delete users.
WARNING – you must select the reassign option. We have had a number of disasters where key content publishers have been deleted along with all their content including images and documents – because the admin chose the “Delete all content” option.
