On the demo site there are several ‘Need to know’ widgets with different colours, titles and news alerts. I’d like to do the same on our intranet as we have far too many IT and facilities updates clogging up the news feed.
I’d like to know how you manage to have the different articles appear in the building updates and service updates as there are no categories to choose from.
These are news updates, which are a different post type to feature news. You may need to activate the module in Options. Once activated, you find a new taxonomy for news update types.
You will also need to activate the news updates plugin to get the widget. Colours are set on individual widget instances.
