It’s not essential to run the upgrade plugin. Only if you want to move your Need to know news posts to a different format called News updates. Otherwise, just update the files from github and don’t activate the plugin.

Apologies guys, a bit of experimental work-in-progress code got into the mix!

    Version 4.2 updates coming soon.

Thanks for the update. We’ve been having a few problems of our own today with quota limits being exceeded. And yes, I should make the vital button look more like a button!

Try Appearance, Customise. Play with the header background colour and header text colour. These control how the tags appear.

Are you using version 3x with Pods or version 4x with ACF?

Can you see vacancies in the backend? Can you view a vacancy post?

    Hi Will

We’ve been using the GLogin plugin in conjunction with the One Intranet plugin to control access for some of our clients who use Google Apps. http://wp-glogin.com/ This allows staff to login from anywhere. We’re looking at Active Directory options for another client but I don’t have any advice on this as yet.

Otherwise, we control access via IP address lockdown which requires no login to view the intranet, apart from VPN access from remote locations where required.

There’s an update for loop.php – however, it looks like you may not have any categories setup for the tasks and guides?

Try changing the slug of the jargon buster page to something other than “jargon-buster” or “jargon-busters” ??

After switching on a new module, you may need to go to Settings, Permalinks and click Save a few times so that WordPress recognises the new content type.

    Hi Leigh

Have you switched on the vacancies module in Options? You’ll need to create a page with the vacancies template.

For the A to Z, you need to create letters A through Z in the taxonomy (see Tasks, A to Z) and then categorise tasks with a letter. To add the A to Z to a menu you may need to pull down the Screen Options tab to switch on the A to Z when viewing Appearance, Menus. Otherwise, there’s an A to Z widget that you can add to the homepage. You don’t need to create any special pages for the A to Z to appear.

Hi Julie – some new updates on github may help with these. Have you setup some vacancies with future closing dates?

Hey Pam – there are some new updates on github which should fix this.

You can skip that bit! It’s old information that I haven’t updated yet. To turn on the staff directory, go to Options, Modules.
