    Hi, Hope you can help.

I am using the Featured News widget and News throughout the Intranet. The problem I have is when featured images are being uploaded they are being cropped to become squares (500px x 500px) and then displayed in the widget. I am aware I can change the default sizes for images in WordPress>Settings>Media. However if I do this applies to the whole site, so when a large image is placed in the body of a post it is treated the same way. How do I configure the site to ensure featured images are cropped to banner shaped images automatically, but images in the body of the post are unaffected?

Please see screenshots below of my Homepage (with large square image) and Media settings. Any advice would be very much welcome

(BTW I am running the latest version of GovIntranet, Plugins and Custom fields Pro)

Solved it myself in the end, but using the settings found on this page – https://help.govintra.net/task/resize-images-across-the-intranet/
