Is there a quick fix for my media files to pull in the old document type & categories values eg.. forms, guides, policies etc..
Really don’t want to have to go through them all again adding the type/category. đ
Hi adbutt,
Did you manage to resolve this? I have the same issue
Thanks
Can you give details of which version worked for you before updating?
Our live site is still running GovIntranet v3.0.8, so that is what I’ve upgraded our dev site from
Thanks
Did you run the upgrade plugins? You should have received a report showing how many document types had been upgraded.
Hi Luke,
Yes, I ran all 3 upgrade plugins.
The report said “Upgraded 9 document types”, which is the correct number. The Document types page shows varying numbers of each type (see attached), but when I click on any of the numbers, it goes to the Posts list, which is empty.
Thanks
Ah okay. Due to the way the document type is selected in the media library, the taxonomy screen under posts won’t link through.
Is the actual document finder template working okay?
Hi Luke,
Will I need to manually apply document types and categories to all media files to get the document finder to work?
Thanks
A stab in the dark from a distant memory. I’ve attached a link to a zip file containing a rough and ready template that *may* help.
Don’t forget to remove the php file when done.
Thanks Luke.
What should happen when I preview the page?
It just says “Sorry, nothing found.”
Can you try the link again – I’ve updated the template.
