I have set up the document finder page which I feel will be useful. How do I insert a document search and document A to Z section on the document finder page like on the demo site (http://demo.govintra.net/document-finder/)
You need to use a different template. The HT Media A to Z plugin will give you the Media A to Z template to use on your page, and will also add a new A to Z taxonomy for use with media items.
This plugin is still in development. Over the past weeks, we’ve been working on different template layouts to accommodate search, A to Z, document type and category filters. The version on github may be a little behind the demo site while we have been testing new iterations.
We’ve also had reports that the Media Categories plugin has not been updated in over two years, and so there are plans to incorporate this functionality into the media a to z plugin. And also plans to enhance the document type taxonomy to allow filtering in the admin screens.
Introducing the Media A to Z plugin makes the document finder template redundant and I’m also thinking about removing this template from the theme in due course.
Thank you, Luke.
I do see that the new version of the theme (I am currently on 4.26.3) and Media A to Z plugin have been announced so I will upgrade and experiment.
