New type
News stories no longer share the same category as tasks and guides. The upgrade plugin will create new terms from your existing categories to use for the news type.
Post format
The theme now makes use of some of the post formats available:
Status – is the new way of doing Need to know stories.
Link – allows you to redirect readers to another URL when they view the story (useful for mentions in external media)
Video – allows you to specify a YouTube or other video URL. When displayed at the top of news listings, the story will show an embedded video player.
Need to know widget
There are new settings to hide need to know items from the list if they have already been clicked.
