Hello Luke,
I am having an issue with the Vacancies. Few minutes after the publication they go back to draft automatically. It never happened before. I just updated the theme to version 4.35.6.5 but the issue is still there. I cannot see any field to set the expire date or similar so i cannot work out what it is triggering the draft status.
Many thanks for your help

There’s a background process that runs every 5 minutes to clean up expiring news, news updates, events and vacancies. The closing date and time is used to check vacancies. In theory, any published vacancies with a closing date in the past will be set to draft.
What version did you update from?

A few questions:
Are you entering a closing time?
In settings, general, is the timezone set okay?
Is this happening for new vacancies?
Have you tried a test with news updates for example, to see if you get the same issue with a post that auto-expires in the future?-

Hi,
Are you entering a closing time? No, but I just tried to enter a closing date and it solves the issue. The problem is that we don’t want to show the closing date.
In settings, general, is the timezone set okay? Yes, ok.
Is this happening for new vacancies? It is happening with all vacancies new and old.
Have you tried a test with news updates for example, to see if you get the same issue with a post that auto-expires in the future? No issue with the News updates. They work perfectly.
In the past you could enter a vacancy without closing date and was keeping it on until you manually remove it.
It would be great if I could have that option back, because we do not use closing dates for vacancies. Many Thanks

One more thing to try!
Can you go to Options, Modules, Events – check if the option to change past events to draft is on or off?

The event module was off (I am not using it) I turned it on with the above option off but unfortunately vacancies go back to draft after few minutes unless there is an expiring date set.

I’ll make a change to the background job to check for blank dates. Should be available next week.
