Hi.
First of all, I’d like to congratulate you for the theme. It’s great! It provides a simple and clear mean to transmit information.
So, I’m having some problems properly configuring the theme and I’ve got a few doubts.
1.- Is step no. 4 (Create Pages) mandatory? I mean, I don’t need those exact pages on my website, except for About.
2.- I have been following step no. 4 anyway and whereas the About, How do I and Tags pages have been successfully created, I’m having trouble with pages News, News by category and Tasks by category. I get the following error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/35/d505046290/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/govintranetpress/page.php on line 60
I’m eager to start with the theme!
Thanks for helping.
Erik.
Hi Erik
There are new updates on github that you can use to refresh your theme files. Let me know if you still get errors.
The theme is designed around 3 main navigation options. About, How do I? and News.
The How do I section contains the tasks and guides. So you’ll need to setup the How do I page, the tag page, the task by category page etc. if you want the theme to work as designed. The theme isn’t really designed to work with old-style, endless left-hand menus.
You don’t need to setup vacancies, projects, news and staff directory if you’re not going to use them.
Hope that helps,
Luke
