Hi,
Loving this plugin/theme and all going well so far creating a staff intranet.
I have been attempting to add document attachment results to the general search with mixed results. I have added the posttype (attachment) and taxonomy (document type) to the search engine, but when it displays a search containing document results it goes a little wonky (overflow to left, after the first document result). I can see that the document listings are missing a div class of “media” which all the other results have. I assume adding this to the document listings would solve the problem, however I can find where that would be. Does anyone know where I should be looking and what exactly needs adding.
I have added a screenshot below of the current result.
Hi Tom
Yes there are some bugs in the search results template if documents are included! I spotted this when looking into getting a search box working on the document finder page. It’s on the list of things to fix so please bear with until this is released 🙂
Luke
Thanks Luke, glad it’s not just me!
Have turned it off for now, but great to hear its on the agenda. In a way using Task pages as a structure to give the documents context, make more sense. However I am sure some users will just dive into the search.
