Reply To: Posts look like they are published at a different time: timezone problem

I found the problem. I changed the timezone in wordpress settings only. I did not notice that I also had to change in General Intranet Settings as follows:

Changed from Time Zone: U to Time Zone: America/New_York

Problem Solved!

Part of the confusion, I suppose, is that I did not notice “U” to mean something, and furthermore, http://www.php.net/manual/en/timezones.php did not have single character codes.
